For this project, we were working with an independent artist that needed help with their website’s branding efforts. The engagement involved building the architecture of the website, priming it for SEO, and working with the client in getting all their assets in order. They were able to find us through a recommendation and after shopping around for a bit, decided we were the best choice.

The detail we do want to talk about regarding this project, however, is something that happened after the review was published. While we knew that Clutch created ranked listings of companies on their platform, we didn’t know that they did lists on the city level. This is why it was an unexpected development for us when we were included in Clutch’s list of top SEO companies in Toronto.
We applaud this effort by the platform to begin localization efforts on their rankings lists for two reasons. First, it allows smaller enterprises like ours the time in the spotlight. Second, it gives people the opportunity to select said smaller enterprises for their projects if they operate in the same area.
There is great interest and opportunity in highlighting local businesses. Customers are more likely to engage with a company if they operate nearby because of convenience and familiarity. The same concept holds true in SEO and we know how effective it is. This is why we are thrilled that it’s being applied in this way as well.
